Education
Nadine is a British artist. Her younger years were devoted to Classical Art when she studied Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Composition and History of Art.
Later, her BA Combined Honours Degree in Art and Design allowed her to further enriche her artistic experience through studying and practicing Modern Art styles.
Nadine works across different subject matters: Portraits and other genres.
Artistic Experiences
Nadine likes experimenting with different art medium: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, together with introducing different textures such as wood, perspex, silk and other modern media. She is now specialising in Portrait Painting
After her Graduation she was commissioned to produce the Interior Design of an Italian restaurant “La Strada” in Towcester.

Former Owner of the “Alla Prima” Gallery in Towcester.
Member of FPAA since its foundation in 2000. Her works are in Private collections worldwide.
Solo Exhibition in Milton Keynes
Solo Exhibition in Stony Stratford
In 2008 Nadine exhibited at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone in Milton Keynes. The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of the City. All proceeds from selling of her paintings, over £2000, were donated to the Greek Orthodox Church, towards the foundation of the church and the restoration of the Church’s Hall.
In May 2011, she held another Solo Exhibition at Swinfen Harris Church Hall, Stony Stratford.

Other achievments
In 2016 She produced a Small reference book “Watercolour Painting – Learn and Practice with Nadine Platt”, sharing her over 20 years artistic experience for all those who would like to grasp the classical basics of watercolour techniques and to pick up some practical tips and advice on watercolour painting.

Diploma in Web Design
Master of Science Degree from the University of Northampton
Nadine also writes poetry. Her poems were published in the National Poetry Anthology 2009 and in other books such as “The Poetry of Motion” and “Angel’s Breath”.
In November 2012 Nadine produced the book cover design for the unique biographical book reprinted from a Manuscript written by William Presslie “The Uncommon Herd” , which is already taking its rightful part in the Social history of Gthe Great Britain and the North East of Scotland.
It talks about a person who made an increadable career starting from the bottom of the Victorian Society of the 19th Century and rising to become an educated Priest and a prolific educator.
Nadine is also passionate about Photography. In 2016 she became a Professional Qualified Photographer with BIPP- one of the oldest British Institutes of Professional Photography.
